FAQ / Frequently Asked Questions for TOYSREVIL

QTN: "Where to buy this toy?"

ANS: Feel free to click on my blog-sponsor ads situated menu-left top of page! Or else I would already have mentioned it in my blog-post, thanks.

QTN: "How can I be a toy designer?"

ANS: Hey, I want to be one too! Someone teach me please? :)

QTN: "Where can I go make my toy?"

ANS: One day I might make a single directory to point to, meanwhile I would suggest you email/contact the folks whose toys you collect and want to be made with/associated with.

QTN: "Can you blog my non-art-toy-related product?"

ANS: Non toy-related are selected based on a connection with toys / artists / and/or pop culture, and there is no guarantees I will post anything I choose not to, sorry.

QTN: "Can you post a link to my non-art-toy-related article?"

ANS: This is decided on a case-to-case basis, and I cannot guarantee posting. I might choose to tweet or retweet it, or post a link on my Public Facebook, but again, no guarantees will be given.

QTN: "Do you accept "Paid-Advertorials"?"

ANS: Depending on item/product relevancy to my blog, to be decided and determined by myself. Pricing to enquire.

QTN: "Will you review my toy?"

ANS: Depending on item/product relevancy to my blog, to be decided and determined by myself how the review will occur - be it on my blog, via video review, via a single Instagram (with credit), or a photo album on Facebook.

Toy given for review will be mine to keep and do as I deem fit with, after reviewing.

If in the event the review is not in your/your brand's favor, I will contact you about it before publishing, to determine if it is to be published. In this instance, I will not return said item regardless of publishing considerations/decisions thereafter.

QTN: "What do you review?"

ANS: Currently I review (art) toys, and select genre-related books. Movie reviews will be posted on my Popcorn-X Movie-blog an possibly mirrored on the TOYSREVIL-blog (Dependent on relevancy and genre).

QTN: "What do you post about on your blog?"

ANS: Currently blog-features include toys and collectibles (both art or mass media based), specific genre-movies, select art, and lifestyle collectibles related to pop culture. Select genre-related events and happenings.

I no longer post about apparels/tees, bags, caps etc. Unless I am supporting good friends.

QTN: "Do you do contests with other brands?"

ANS: Yes, I do! But it has to be relevant to my blog and it's contents. And you would have to be responsible for the cost of the item(s), as well as the postage / shipping costs are to be borne by yourselves - be it though prize fulfillment from my end, or direct from you.

QTN: "Where can I find your mailing address, so I can send some free stuff your way?"

ANS: My sincere thanks in advance for your generosity! Email me with your intention, and I will decide with providing you with my mailing address, thank you! :)

QTN: "Will you follow me back if I follow you on your online venues/social media chanels?"

ANS: No. Because I am imbudd with multiple information streams at any one given time, and I require dedicated focus on my various information and social media streams, so I will need to decide who to follow back, based on my own terms and requirement, thanks!

QTN: "Are you interested in link exchange?"

ANS: No.

Thank You :)

What Is #iCollect?

#iCollect is a weekly/bi-weekly serial blog feature on Wednesdays, whereby we take a look at YOUR toy collection, and what pop cultural coolness YOU collect! The first caveat is, that your collection to be showcased is "singularly themed".

For example, instead of showcasing you huge "Star Wars" collection, the focus is on your STORM TROOPERS ONLY collection, or R2D2 ONLY Collection, cool?

The second caveat for this feature is, it will not function to sell your collection, be it on auction or otherwise. Thank you for understanding.

Images galore of your collections to be shared on the blog, along with a little Q&A about yourself and your connection to your own collection. Share with us a peek into your toy-world, and share the love for toys!

Folks interested to share your collection(s) with TOYSREVIL blog-readers are to email me direct at toysreviler [at] gmail.com (with the subject title: "#iCollect"). Thank you!
